is a triptych of youth shorts planned & directed by Michael van der Put.
Completed in 2011, Callum tells the story of a boy struggling to come to terms with personal loss. The film stars James Tarpey and has so far screened at 25 festivals around the world, winning 15 awards.
Due to be shot in 2014, the second film Angry Face is a bittersweet comedy about the uncertainties of adolescence. We follow Kid over the course of a moonlit night as he attempts to reconnect with a childhood friend.
The third and final film Rage will be filmed almost entirely on location at the Deptford Lounge in November 2013. The film uses five-a-side football as a backdrop to explore the anger that can lie at the heart of political apathy.
All three films in the triptych take place in the London borough of Lewisham. Though the films will vary in tone, each will share cast, crew and certain themes.
We were lucky enough to receive funding from IdeasTap to shoot Rage this November but we need your help to finish it!
